東京大学大学院教育心理学専攻修士課程修了。『不都合な真実』(アル・ゴア氏著)の翻訳をはじめ、環境・エネルギー問題に関する講演、執筆、企業のCSRコンサルティングや異業種勉強会等の活動を通じて、地球環境の現状や国内外の動きを発信。持続可能な未来に向けて新しい経済や社会のあり方、幸福度、レジリエンス(しなやかな強さ)を高めるための考え方や事例を研究。「伝えること」で変化を創り、「つながり」と「対話」でしなやかに強く、幸せな未来の共創をめざす。

Junko Edahiro is a Japan-based sustainability expert working to create a resilient and happy future. She conducts seminars and works as a consultant, has written many books on the environment and energy, resilience, animal welfare, and has translated dozens of books into Japanese, including "An Inconvenient Truth" by Al Gore.
She also works as an advisor to help build resilient communities and local economies through approaches that include systems thinking and scenario planning. Recent local community projects include Ama Town in Shimane Prefecture and Shimokawa Town in Hokkaido.

UCLA Architecture and Urban Design Chair and Associate Professor

Mariana Ibañez is an Argentinian architect involved in practice, academia, and research. She is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Architecture and Urban Design at UCLA and the cofounder of Ibañez Kim, a genre-defiant practice that works with sensate materials, atmospheres, and new media to generate architecture, objects, and cities. Their work focuses on the disciplinary core of architecture and its growing periphery, with a focus on the relationship between technology, culture, and the environment. Before joining UCLA, Mariana taught at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design for over a decade and for four years at the MIT School of Architecture and Planning.
As an author, Mariana has published two edited volumes, Paradigms in Computing by Routledge and Organization or Design? by a+t. She has also written numerous articles and chapters for Wiley and Sons,Harvard Design Magazine, ACTAR, Routledge, and others. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the MAXII museum in Rome, and The National Art Museum in Beijing with projects including work for the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC, the Philadelphia Museum of Art,and the Biennale in Seoul.
Prior to forming Ibañez Kim, Mariana was Project Architect and Designer at Zaha Hadid Architects where she worked on the London Aquatic Centre for the Olympic Games in 2012, the CGM /CMA tower in Marseille, and the Capital Hill Residence in Moscow among other projects, and a Designer at the Advanced Geometry Unit at ARUP in London.
Mariana received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires and her Master of Architecture from the Architectural Association in London.

産学官の様々なセクターの中に変革者を育むため、生物の進化という自然現象から創造性の本質を学ぶ「進化思考」を提唱し、生物学者・経済学者らが選ぶ日本を代表する学術賞「山本七平賞」を受賞。デザイナーとしてはプロダクト、グラフィック、建築などの高いデザインの表現力を活かし、グッドデザイン賞金賞、アジアデザイン賞大賞、ドイツデザイン賞金賞他、国内外を問わず100以上のデザイン賞を受賞し、DFAA(Design for Asia Awards)、WAF(World Architecture Festival)、グッドデザイン賞等の審査委員を歴任する。
主なプロジェクトに、OLIVE、東京防災、PANDAID、山本山、横浜DeNAベイスターズ、YOXO、2025大阪・関西万博日本館基本構想など。
著書に『進化思考』(海士の風、2021年)『デザインと革新』(パイ インターナショナル、2016年)がある。

Eisuke Tachikawa is a design strategist who designs alternatives for a hopeful future and aims to renew creativity education.
In order to foster change-makers in various sectors of industry, academia, and government, he advocates "Evolution Thinking," which tells the essence of creativity from the natural phenomenon of biological evolution, and continues to work to spread creative education.
He crosses the boundaries of design fields such as product design, graphic design, and architecture to create successful comprehensive strategies for numerous projects dealing with next-generation energy, regional revitalization, and SDGs.
He has won over 100 design awards worldwide, including the Good Design Gold Award (Japan) and DFA Design for Asia Grand Award (Hong Kong), and served as a judge at various award ceremonies such as Good Design Award, DIA (Design Intelligence Award), DFAA (Design for Asia Award), and WAF (World Architecture Festival). Some of his most famous projects include OLIVE, Tokyo Bousai, PANDAID, YAMAMOTOYAMA, Yokohama DeNA BayStars, YOXO (Yokohama, Japan), and the concept of the Japan Pavilion at the OSAKA, KANSAI EXPO 2025.
He is the writer of "Design and Innovation - 50 ways to create the future" (Pie International, 2016) and "Evolution Thinking" (Ama no Kaze, 2021) which won the YAMAMOTO SHICHIHEI Prize, Japan's leading academic award selected by biologists and economists.
